The Business Analyst in the insurance industry serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, profitability, and compliance within the insurance company. The ideal candidate will approach their work with empathy and a business owner mindset, ensuring that all solutions align with the company's strategic goals and customer needs.
Requirements Gathering:
1.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
2.Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand business needs.
3.Approach each interaction with empathy, actively listening to understand the underlying concerns and goals of stakeholders.
Process Analysis and Improvement:
1.Analyze current business processes and workflows.
2.Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
3.Develop process models and documentation.
4.Think like a business owner, considering the long-term impact of process changes on the company's success.
Data Analysis:
1.Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
2.Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and strategy development.
3.Ensure data analysis is aligned with the overall business strategy and customer satisfaction goals.
Solution Design and Implementation:
1.Work with IT teams to design and implement solutions.
2.Ensure solutions align with business objectives and requirements.
3.Conduct user acceptance testing and provide training to end-users.
4.Prioritize solutions that deliver value to the business and enhance the customer experience.
5.Present solution designs and project progress to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
Project Management:
1.Manage and coordinate project activities.
2.Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
3.Monitor project progress and report on status to stakeholders.
4.Take ownership of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Communication:
1.Serve as a point of contact between business units and technical teams.
2.Facilitate communication and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
3.Communicate with empathy, ensuring stakeholders feel heard and understood.
4.Deliver presentations on project status, challenges, and achievements to keep all parties informed and engaged.
Compliance and Risk Management:
1.Ensure solutions comply with industry regulations and standards.
2.Identify and mitigate risks associated with business processes and solutions.
3.Adopt a proactive approach to risk management, thinking ahead to prevent potential issues.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
1.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
2.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance industry.
3.Experience with underwriting processes, claims management, and product development is highly desirable.
4.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
7.Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and standards.
8.Project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.
9.Empathy and the ability to understand and address stakeholder concerns.
10.A business owner mindset, with a focus on long-term success and customer satisfaction.
11.Presentation skills to effectively communicate solution designs and project progress.
Certifications:
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with insurance software systems and tools.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
